WWE Summer Slam Night 2: Full match card, start time and how to watch

After the first night of the WWE Summer Slam at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, turned out to be a blockbuster, the grand wrestling event is set to take over New Jersey for the second night on Sunday (August 3, 2025). On the first night of the Summer Slam, fans were treated well with dramatic plot twists. The first twist came with CM Punk overcoming Gunther to regain world championship gold for the first time since returning to the promotion in 2023 in a brutal match.

Soon after Punk got his hands on the World Championship, his celebration was cut short by Seth Rollins, when the WWE superstar came out on crutches to tell him that he’s coming for the title.

Rollins revealed the crutches were just a trick, dramatically tossing them aside before storming the ring to attack Punk with the Money in the Bank briefcase, landing a stomp and capturing the title.

WWE Summer Slam Night 2: List of matches

On night 2 of the Summer Slam, fans will witness six blockbuster matches. John Cena will be in action to defend the undisputed WWE championship against Cody Rhodes in a street fight.

The women’s world championship is on the line when new titleholder Naomi defends against both Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley in a triple threat. Naomi had cashed in her Money in the Bank contract to claim the title during a match between Sky and Ripley at WWE Evolution in July 2025.

Besides this, Solo Sikoa will also defend his United States championship against Jacob Fatu inside a steel cage. One of the wildest matches lined up is a six-team TLC bout for the WWE Tag Team Titles, with the Wyatt Sicks defending against #DIY, the Street Profits, Fraxiom, Motor City Machine Guns, and Andrade & Rey Fenix.
